Terms and Conditions

Buying from Sugarlesque :
When you place an order with Sugarlesque, this is an offer to purchase the items indicated by you and it is not binding on us until we have notified you that we have accepted your order. All advertisements and communications made by us until we accept your order are invitations to purchase and are not offers. When we show items on our website (www.sugarlesque.com) that are not available, incorrectly priced or otherwise incorrectly described; this does not oblige us to sell you those goods.

Invoices :
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Sugarlesque, all invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of invoice, in the currency of the invoice, drawn on a bank based in the UK or by such other method as is agreed in advance by Sugarlesque. Failure to pay all amounts due by the due date may result in: a) withholding of further supplies including supplies in respect of which the customer has already made payment in full; and/or b) charging of interest on amounts outstanding at the rate of 4% above the Royal Bank of Scotland base rate from time to time.

Pricing :
Sugarlesque reserves the right to change its advertised prices at any time. Furthermore we cannot be held responsible nor have any liabilities where our stockists offer our products at prices that differ from our own, nor can we be responsible for the pricing policies of such stockists.

Refunds :
All our products are lovingly and individually handmade and always checked very carefully before being sent off. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the items sold on this website, we cannot offer any refunds. However, if you believe that your garment/ product has been delivered to you in a faulty condition, then please email orders@sugarlesque.com within 14 days of receipt of your item, explaining why you wish to exchange the garment/product, and quoting your transaction ID number/order number. We will reply by email with a form for you to complete and return to us along with the goods you are exchanging. It is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the unwanted goods to us by mail, unless deemed faulty by Sugarlesque. We will then replace the garment/product for you by return mail. It is your responsibility to cover the cost of receiving your replacement goods by mail, unless deemed faulty by Sugarlesque. This replacement period may take up to 28 days from the date we receive your unwanted goods. Note that we will not exchange items that have clearly been worn or damaged. When you return an item to us by post, you do so at your own risk. We recommend using a signed-for delivery service.

Delivery Charges :
We will charge postage on any goods we send to you, except for exchanges of faulty goods. You will pay for any items returned to us by mail for any reason, except in the case of faulty goods. In the case of a delivery remaining unclaimed by you for a certain period of time, it may be returned to us by Royal Mail. In this case – it is your responsibility to cover the cost of having the goods redelivered to you on another occasion. All items sent out by Sugarlesque are posted using a signed-for delivery service.

Copyright :
All content on the Sugarlesque website, including but not limited to all page headers, images, illustrations, graphics, audio clips, video clips and text are subject to trademark, service mark, trade dress, copyright and all other intellectual property rights or licenses held by Sugarlesque. The entire content of our website is copyrighted as a collective work under applicable copyright laws, and coordination, arrangement and enhancement of the content. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by Sugarlesque.

Product Variation :
We have done our best to display as accurately as it is possible the colours of the items available to purchase on the Sugarlesque website. However, because the colours you see will depend on your own computer display, we cannot guarantee it’s accuracy in relation to the actual colours of our products. If you would like to request a fabric sample, please let us know by emailing : sugar@sugarlesque.com – we will happily send up to a maximum of 3 fabric swatches per address; this service is free of charge to the customer.

Severance :
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from these Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.

Modifications to Terms and Conditions :
Sugarlesque may at any time modify any relevant terms and conditions, policies or notices. You acknowledge that by visiting the website each time, you shall become bound to the current version of the relevant terms and conditions and, unless stated in the current version, all previous versions shall be superseded by the current version. You shall be responsible for reviewing the then current version each time you visit the website or intend to place an order.

Entire Agreement :
These Conditions (as amended from time to time) contain the entire agreement between you and us relating to the subject matter covered and supersedes any previous agreements, arrangements, undertakings, representations or proposals, written or oral, between You and Us in relation to such matters. You confirm that you have read these conditions and, you fully understand them and you also agree that these conditions are the only terms (together with your own network provider agreement) that rule your relationship with us.
